"How we got started and Why"

We are the "National Work-at-Home Employment Center" located in Spring Hill, Florida.  For over eleven years, we have provided the highest quality information designed to help individuals and families earn income by working from their own homes.

Our organization was established in 1989 by a set of parents in Columbus, Georgia who needed to earn extra income from home to make ends meet.  Here they tell their story:

"We had just had a baby and my husband was working full time plus going to school at night.  We felt it was important that I stay home with the baby, but we really needed an extra income source.   I wanted to work but I also needed to stay at home.  I began looking to see if there were any home-based employment opportunities.  I began doing a little research.

During this time I noticed a company advertising work-from-home jobs.  They promised me home-based work.  I sent them $35.00 and received a 10 page booklet -if you can call it that - that was just a list of names of companies.  It looked terrible, like it had been thrown together and photo-copied.  There was very little information about the companies, just their addresses,  mostly P.O. boxes.  Still hopeful, I wrote to all of the companies.  Many came back with no such address, moved, or I received no response at all.  A few who responded wanted a lot of money to get more information from them.

If I had done my homework properly in the beginning - a lesson I learned well - I would have discovered that the company who sold me the directory and most of the companies in the list they sent me, had terrible records with their local Business Association that supports fair business practices, and other agencies. 

So after being burned, I was quite motivated to really research this field.  After all, my needs hadn't changed.  I thought the idea of working from home was great if I could just find "legitimate" companies that were hiring."
